Leicester City Retro Shirt 1996 Away
The 1996-98 white away shirt - revived today for the modern-day supporter - was worn on nine occasions during the first two seasons back in the Premier League under Martin O’Neill. The shirt featured in an infamous FA Cup penalty incident at Stamford Bridge in February 1997 at the Foxes’ expense, then a fortnight later was worn on an unforgettable night in which Simon Grayson’s leveller against Wimbledon secured City’s place in the 1997 League Cup Final.
The remake features the Fox Leisure logo, striped V-neck collar, striped sleeve detailing, embroidered crest pattern and the familiar Walkers Crisps sponsorship across the chest.
