This shirt made its first major appearance on 30th July 2011 in the second half of the prestige friendly match against Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid. This was the inaugital fixture at the newly renamed King Power Stadium which was full to capacity on the day.
Liam Moore made his debut in the match at Crystal Palace, the first time the team won a game wearing this design.
