This shirt only lasted for one season but it is associated with some very significant events in the Club’s history. It was the first shirt to be worn at the Club’s new stadium, and saw Leicester City regain Premier League status.

Brian Deane was wearing this design when he scored the first two league goals at the new Stadium, in the 2-0 home victory over Watford on the opening day of the season.

The shirt was part of an all-blue kit. The only other periods in the Club’s history when an all-blue kit was worn as the standard first team strip were in 1967/68, between 1992 and 1996, and for the 2015/16 season.
